Favorite hunting story/memory? Prior to marrying, I was blessed with the opportunities to hunt and guide at Greenbrier, the old Winchester club, for three seasons and spent a season hunting at Wingmead. Then I had to grow up and go to work.
What got you into duck hunting? Because we lived in Marianna and most kids hunted around there, my dad knew he had to expose me to duck hunting. I took to it like a duck to water.
If you have children, do you take them duck hunting? If so, what are some of the highlights from these youth hunts? I have two sons who have hunted with me since they were 3 or 4 years old. Exposing them to different experiences, clubs, etc. is my favorite.
What is your most unusual “must have” in the duck blind? Starburst candy. It’s amazing how quiet kids get when they start eating them.
