Bozeman, Montana based SITKA Gear has announced the debut of their much anticipated Delta Wader with a launch date of Summer 2018. The wader will be on display at next week’s SHOT Show in Las Vegas. The innovative hunting apparel company spent five years developing and testing a wader system that integrates a durable, breathable wader designed to function through all the weather ups and downs of an Arkansas duck season.

Comprised of the Delta Wader and Delta Zip Wader, the Delta Wader Collection completes the head-to-toe, skin-to-shell system for SITKA Gear Waterfowl hunters. Featuring a breathable and resilient 4-Layer GORE-TEX®PRO laminate, Delta Waders excel in warm weather, high-exertion activities, and are designed to respond to insulation layers without adding unnecessary bulk, making the waders capable of spanning from the early season into frigid winter conditions.

“This is one of the most highly anticipated product launches in SITKA waterfowl history. The Delta Waders are the culmination of nearly five years of research, development, and testing,” said Ryan Bassham, Waterfowl Marketing Manager at SITKA Gear. “We designed the Delta Waders for ultimate durability and comfort during the warmer days chasing teal, to the icy conditions of the late season. We are excited to offer the SITKA Tribe a best-in-class waterfowl system.”

SITKA Gear’s Delta Wader Collection, available in the GORE™ OPTIFADE™ Concealment Timber and Marsh patterns, integrates Lacrosse boots with Aeroform injection-molded insulation, creating an ultra-warm, comfortable, light and durable boot. Reinforced and rugged foam pads cover the shins and knees to endure years of abuse while breaking ice and busting through brush. High hand warmer pockets, water-resistant zippered storage pockets, and a quantum-adjustable no-buckle suspension make comfort and function a priority. Delta Zip Waders include a durable and waterproof YKK AQUASEAL® front zipper for simple access.

The Delta Wader is made in the USA and are built to last multiple seasons without fail.

“Delta Waders went through years of covert iterations and testing so we could introduce them as the longest-lasting and most versatile waterfowl hunting waders on the market,” said Jim Saubier, SITKA’s waterfowl product manager. “As the final piece to the SITKA Gear waterfowl hunting line, Delta Waders are designed to integrate seamlessly into both Marsh and Timber waterfowl systems as well as bring the innovation SITKA’s known for into the waterfowl hunting wader market.”
