In the Fall of 2018, Filson and Mossy Oak will debut a set of Tin Cloth and Mackinaw Wool shirts, jackets and vests featuring the Shadow Grass and Bottomland patterns. The collaboration will be known as Filson x Mossy Oak.
Each company is well respected in the waterfowling world. Filson, of Seattle, was founded in 1897 to outfit prospectors who were making their way to Alaska’s Klondike Gold Rush, and the brand was later adapted by sportsmen seeking durable gear for harsh conditions. Mossy Oak®, founded in West Point, Mississippi, revolutionalized the camouflage industry with realistic camouflage patterns for every hunting scenario a duck hunter encounters.
The collection will include existing, classic Filson Tin Cloth products such as the Down Cruiser Vest, Insulated Jac-Shirt, and Field Duffle in the Original Mossy Oak® Shadowgrass pattern for the waterfowl and upland hunters. A benefit to big game hunters, the timeless functionality of Filson’s Mackinaw Wool will be available in Mossy Oak® Bottomlands camouflage as well.
