Arkansas Business reported Thursday that the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission is currently reviewing nine agency director candidates, following the resignation of former director Austin Booth in January.
Candidates are current interim director Chris Racey, along with John Zack Brown, Charles ‘Swanny’ Evans, Maurice Jackson, Colbie Jones, Andrew Kelley, Ed Penny, Doug Schoenrock and Mike Wilson.
Commissioners hope to select a new director by June, said Randy Zellers, assistant communications chief for the AGFC.
