Arkansas Game and Fish Commission Director Austin Booth has been named Chief Executive Officer of Banded Holdings, Inc., the parents company of premier outdoor brands including Banded®, Avery Outdoors® and Thacha®.
“Joining Banded Holdings is an incredible honor,” Booth said. “As someone who has always been passionate about the outdoors and hunting traditions I’m thrilled to lead a company at the forefront of equipping hunters and outdoor enthusiasts.”
Booth has led the AGFC since 2021. He announced his resignation, effective Jan. 4, 2025, from the agency in November.
Prior to his tenure at the AGFC, Booth, a native of Little Rock, held executive roles as Chief of Staff and Chief Financial Officer at the Arkansas Department of Veterans Affairs.
Booth earned his bachelor’s degree from The Citadel, a Senior Military College in South Carolina. He studied law at the University of South Carolina School of Law before serving as Judge Advocate in the United States Marine Corps, including a deployment to Afghanistan.
