Last week during the freeze, Greenhead.net Pro Staffers Brent Birch and Joel Whicker tagged along with buddy Jay Coker and the crew at Dry Lake Hunting Service for a world class Arkansas rice field hunt.
The entire state was locked up due to lows in the teens but ducks had been attempting to feed mid day in areas that got a little slushy due to the sun. We set out to bust up just enough ice to make the jerk string wiggle in a pit right in the middle of two large concentrations of feeding mallards.
