Waterfowlers looking for an adaptive inbetween layer for those cool but not cold days now have Sitka’s Ambient Collection to evaluate. The company added Gore Optifade Waterfowl Marsh and Waterfowl Timber patterns to the existing selections allowing duck hunters the opportunity to take advantage of Sitka’s active insulation technology.
SITKA’s product design experts coupled best-in-class technologies with decades of experience in outdoor environments to create the Ambient Collection. The line is engineered to adapt to changing weather conditions as well as levels of activity. In other workds, when users are static and temperatures are low,the pieces insulate to deliver warmth. When hunters are active or temperatures rise, the pieces breathe well to remove heat.
The Ambient Collection features a Men’s Ambient Jacket ($299), a Women’s Ambient Jacket ($299), and a Men’s Ambient Hoody ($279). Each item is constructed with post-consumer recycled PrimaLoft® Evolve insulation, 20-denier ripstop nylon fabric for durability, a DWR finish for enhanced weather protection, and mechanical stretch to provide comfort and a full range of motion.
