My grandfather, Marion Foster, recently passed away. He duck hunted until last year when he was 88. He lived most of his adult life in Marvell and hunted the White River Refuge.

As a child, spending time with him in the big woods was special for me, planting the seed for the love of hunting that I have today. After he retired in about 1992, he moved to England to be closer to his family, and so I was the one able to take him hunting.

The picture above is of me (center) after a nice morning hunt with my grandfather and several friends in 1994.
