LITTLE ROCK – The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission has been presented with proposals for the 2013-14 duck season.
The proposed seasons are Nov. 23-Dec. 1; Dec. 5-Dec. 23; and Dec. 26-Jan. 26 with a youth hunt on Feb. 1 and 2. The commission will finalize the dates later.
The commission has also approved early migratory bird season dates – including a Sept. 1-Oct. 20 and Dec. 21-Jan. 9 season for mourning and Eurasian collared doves.
The late migratory bird season dates are expected to be approved during the August commission meeting.
