On September 7, 2012 at the Statehouse Convention Center in Little Rock, the Arkansas Game and Fish Foundation will induct Witt Stephens, Jr., Bill Bridgforth and Rick Evans into the Arkansas Outdoor Hall of Fame. The Foundation’s Hall of Fame recognizes achievements in outdoor fields, promoting conversation education and protecting wildlife habitat.

The Foundation will also be celebrating their 30th anniversary as well as recognizing Wallace Claypool with their first ever Legacy Award. The Legacy Award was created to recognize individuals whose lifelong commitment to the outdoors, conservation and the passing on of Arkansas’ outdoor traditions to the next generation.

The event will feature auction items including a youth elk hunting permit, a bear den trip for four, a handful of premium duck hunting opportunities, the 2012 Ducks Unlimited Gun of the Year and much more. There also will be a raffle for one Arkansas lifetime hunting and fishing license.

Proceeds from the banquet and silent auction assist the Foundation’s continuing mission to support youth education initiatives that focus on the outdoors, including the archery and youth shooting sports programs that are currently serving over 7,000 Arkansas youths.

Individual tickets are $100.00. A reception takes place at 6 PM with dinner at 7 PM. For tickets or for more information, vist www.agff.org or contact Wendy Henderson of the Arkansas Game and Fish Foundation at 501-223-6396.
